The Intern Program website is the sole method of managing the Professional Development Center (PDC) Intern Program and serves as a tracking and management tool for the Naval Acquisition Intern Program (NAIP) and the Naval Acquisition Associates Program (NAAP). Through the Intern website, program administrators can create and manage the current year recruitment plan, including adding, editing, and deleting positions. They can also generate tentative offer letters and track new hire forms received. The system tracks positions filled, pending offers, and vacancies. The system also tracks PDC Intern candidates and their status. Prospective interns can view tentative offer letters and retrieve new hire forms. The system sends out online evaluation requests to the interns every six months, asking them to evaluate the intern program. Feedback from these evaluations can be viewed on the website. This website houses historical information for the PDC, NAIP, and NAAP Intern programs. Several management reports are available for the current fiscal year and prior years. Reports include Interns Currently on Board, Interns Due on Board, Hiring Summary, Losses, and the Intern Executive Summary. This system has multiple levels of access. Each level gives the user access to only the data they are authorized to view and/or edit.
